Florham Park FD requested Whippany's
Hazardous Materials team to 80 Passaic Ave for a diesel fuel leak.
Spill was contained with absorbent pads and booms.
MARCH 19, 2008
Early Wednesday afternoon the Whippany Fire
Department assisted the Cedar Knolls Fire Department with a
report of brown smoke coming from the front door of 17
Townsend Road in Cedar Knolls. HTPD officers arrived on
scene confirming a house fire. Cedar Knolls FD Chief
Davidson arrived on scene and assumed command. 301 ordered
Whippany's Engine and Cedar Knolls Truck 33 to perform fire
suppression and ventilation. The fire damaged the bedroom's
floor and the rest of the home was damaged extensively by
smoke.
MARCH 14, 2008
Morris Township FD requested Whippany's
Hazardous Materials team to 299 Madison Ave for a garbage
truck fire. Whippany's team placed absorbent pads and
booms to the area to contain the run-off from the fire.
