The WFD specializes in Fire Suppression, Hazardous Materials Operations, Swift Water Rescue, and RIT Operations. The department is also part of the Black Meadows Mutual Aid Association. This is an agreement among the twelve (12) departments in our immediate area to work together and supply assistance whenever necessary, to take advantage of the synergy that is created when a large scale incident occurs.

Two of our Fire Engines our equipped with a CAFS (Compressed Air Foam System) which allows us to use foam to suppress a fire quicker.
